Australia captain Michael Clarke's participation in next month's limited-overs tour of India has yet to be confirmed.

Clarke, despite a recurring back injury, has been named in a 14-man squad for the one-off Twenty20 Internationals and seven ODIs. His participation, however, will be subject to clearance from the team's medical staff.

All-rounder Moises Henriques and slow bowler Xavier Doherty, meanwhile, have been recalled. Wicketkeeper-batsman Matthew Wade and leg-spinner Fawad Ahmed, however, were dropped.

"It's getting there slowly, but how slowly, I won't know. I'll probably have until the end of this week or early next week to see how I pull up, having treatment two or three times a day at the moment to give myself the best chance of being right for the tour," said Clarke.

"We're not planning on having scans right now, we're going to push me as far as I can go and see how I pull up, and if I pull up fine then great I'm on the plane. If I don't then I might have to have scans. But that's dictated by the experts who know a lot more about the problem I have than myself."

The sole T20I will be played in Rajkot on 10 October, while Pune, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ranchi, Cuttack, Nagpur and Bangalore will host ODIs one, two, three, four, five, six and seven respectively.
