Captain Michael Clarke will miss the rest of Australia's ODI tri-series against Zimbabwe and South Africa at the Harare Sports Club due to a recurrence of a hamstring injury.

Captain Michael Clarke will miss the rest of Australia's ODI tri-series against Zimbabwe and South Africa at the Harare Sports Club due to a recurrence of a hamstring injury.

Clarke aggravated the hurt left hamstring during an unbeaten half-century in Sunday's key fixture against the Zimbabweans, who claimed a historic three-wicket triumph.

"Michael aggravated his left hamstring while batting during the ODI against Zimbabwe and will not be able to take any further part in the tri-series," said
team physiotherapist David Beakley.

The Australians are hopeful the veteran right-handed batsman will be fit for the three ODIs and two Tests against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates between 5 October and 3 November.

"Michael will return to Sydney on Tuesday to undergo scans and further assessment to determine the full extent of the injury," added Beakley.
