Clarke to miss series opener

Australia ODI captain Michael Clarke will miss the first match of the upcoming tri-series against Zimbabwe.
Australia ODI captain Michael Clarke will miss the first match of the upcoming tri-series against Zimbabwe.
Clarke hurt himself in Australia's first training session in Harare on Friday and was not seen training again.
Despite the best efforts of the team physio, Clarke will be on the sidelines for the Zimbabwe match on Monday in Harare.
However, the 33-year-old could recover in time to face South Africa at the same venue on Wednesday.
Clarke's absence gives Phil Hughes the opportunity to show his true colors up the batting order, as Clarke was earmarked by coach Darren Lehman to be Aaron Finch's opening partner.
"When you're on tour, everyone always prepares just in case you're playing," revealed Hughes on cricket.com.au.
Clarke says he believes the injury could have been caused by training too soon after a long-haul flight.
