Collingwood backs ‘exciting’ England to impress

Paul Collingwood believes England will impress at the World T20 in India next month as the youthful squad continues to play it's exciting brand of cricket.
Collingwood, who led England to the World T20 title in 2010, will be with the squad in the subcontinent as a batting and fielding coach.
The former middle-order batsman feels the national team is now seeing the benefit of young players who grew up watching and playing the shortest version of the game.
Collingwood told Sky Sports: "England must be confident with what they have done in the last year or so, the way they've gone about their white-ball cricket is a different level to what they've done in the past.
"They have to keep their confidence high. It's a tough group, but it's a World Cup – you've got to beat the best.
"The amazing thing about the England team is they are a group of youngsters who are very athletic. They move well in the field, they are very powerful, the batting line-up is incredibly powerful. It's exciting to watch.
"They've been watching T20 cricket since the age of 12, so they've been practicing these skills from a very early age and now you're seeing the next generation coming through.
"When you watch them live you think 'wow, how do you do that?' It's so exciting to watch. The skills they have are incredible."
England kick off their World T20 campaign against the West Indies in Mumbai on 16 March.
