De Kock dropped, Vilas to make Test debut

Wicketkeeper Dane Vilas is set to make his debut for South Africa in the second Test against Bangladesh starting in Mirpur on Thursday.
The 30-year-old Vilas will replace Quinton de Kock in the line-up. Vilas has played one international match for South Africa, a one-off T20 against India at the Wanderers in 2012.
De Kock has been in terrible batting form on the tour of Bangladesh, scoring only 100 runs in five limited-overs innings while he got a first-ball duck in the drawn first Test.
Vilas gets his opportunity after scoring 499 runs in 14 domestic first-class innings for the Cape Cobras last season.
A right-handed batsman, Vilas has solid average of 41 in 71 first-class matches, including 10 centuries.
