Veteran Sri Lanka batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan has become the latest high-profile name to withdraw from the Champions League Twenty20 in India this month.
Dilshan was due to play for the Southern Express, but has cited personal reasons for his withdrawal. he is the second big name the Express must do without, after Lasith Malinga opted to play for Mumbai.
Dilshan withdrew from the trip on the day the team left for India, according to the team manager. He has been replaced in the side by his brother, TM Sampath, who was already on stand-by.
Elsewhere, The Kolkata Knight Riders have lost Morne Morkel due to injury, the Cape Cobras have lost Beuran Hendricks due to aback problem, and Mumbai have lost Rohit Sharma due to a fractured finger.
