Dilshan to miss opening game of India tour

Batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan will miss Sri Lanka's first T20I against India as he recovers from a hand injury, with Niroshan Dickwella called into the squad.
The 39 year-old Dilshan, who has a long-standing problem with his hand and aggravated it in a domestic T20 game, will not travel with the national side to India ahead of the three-match series, starting on Tuesday.
The opening batsman though is expected to be fit for the remaining two games of the series and will link up with his teammates before the second match on 12 February.
Dickwella, who is uncapped in T20Is having only played in four Tests and one ODI, has earned his call up due to strong performances in the domestic T20 competition.
The 22 year-old hit 189 runs in six innings, with a strike rate of 173.
Sri Lanka will already miss Lasith Malinga and Angelo Mathews for the matches in India due to injuries.
