England and Wales Cricket Board have released their schedule and venues for the summer of 2014, with 47 days of cricket planned for the visits of Sri Lanka and India during that time.
The Sri Lankans are the first to arrive, in May, and they will play a T20, five ODIs and two Tests. The Indians arrive soon after, and they have a more substantial schedule, like the Ashes, featuring five Tests and five ODIs.
London venues The Oval and Lord's see substantial action in both tours, while Birmingham's Edgbaston also get a few fixture, despite its rainy reputation at that time of year.
India will hope to use this series in order to make up for the two-one series defeat at home in 2012, while Sri Lanka's last Test series against England, early last year, saw them draw the two-match event one all.
