England to announce ODI, T20I squads

England's squads for this month's one-off Twenty International and five-ODI series against Sri Lanka will be named at 11:30 British Summer Time (10:30 GMT) on Tuesday.
England's squads for this month's one-off Twenty International and five-ODI series against Sri Lanka will be named at 11:30 British Summer Time (10:30 GMT) on Tuesday.
Last week's rain-affected 39-run triumph over Scotland at Mannofield Park in Aberdeen would have afforded new coach Peter Moores some insight into the composition of the limited-overs collectives.
All-rounders Stuart Broad and Ben Stokes won't be considered for selection due to respective knee and hand injuries, while fast bowler Harry Gurney is expected to be retained despite going without a wicket on debut against the Scots.
Fast bowler Chris Woakes and batsman Moeen Ali, too. are likely to feature in the ODI team. The inexperienced Ali's ongoing presence in the T20I XI, however, is doubtful.
The 26-year-old – and seamer Jade Dernbach and spinner Stephen Parry – endured particularly poor World Twenty20 campaigns in Bangladesh, which culminated in defeat to the Netherlands.
The lone T20I will be played at The Oval in London on 20 May. The same venue, Chester-le-Street, Manchester, Lord's and Edgbaston will host ODIs one, two, three, four and five respectively.
The England and Wales Cricket Board, meanwhile, have confirmed the opening 2015 Ashes Test will take place at Sophia Gardens. The second, third, fourth and fifth Tests will be played at Lord's, Edgbaston, Trent Bridge and The Oval respectively.
