England’s Jordan replaces Starc at RCB

England all-rounder Chris Jordan will join the Royal Challengers Bangalore as a replacement for Mitchell Starc, after the Australia paceman withdrew from the tournament to continue recovery from ankle surgery.
Starc, who got married earlier this month, did not join up with the team this season after his surgery in December, so Jordan will join the team as soon as possible. It is his first call to the IPL.
Jordan, who was part of England's run to final of the World Twenty20, tweeted that he couldn't wait to join up with the RCB lads. He is the second new face in the past few days, after Samuel Badree was replaced by South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi.
First @IPL stint coming up can't wait to join my @RCBTweets teammates should be fun #whatafeeling ????????

ECB boss Andrew Strauss, who has been instrumental in allowing England's players to go to the IPL this year, said: "We are happy to support Chris in his decision to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2016.
"Participating in the tournament will be a good opportunity for him to further develop his white-ball skills and experience."
