Pakistan will be without opening batsman Imran Farhat for their tour to Zimbabwe, with the player citing 'personal reasons' for his withdrawal from the side.
Pakistan will be without opening batsman Imran Farhat for their tour to Zimbabwe, with the player citing 'personal reasons' for his withdrawal from the side.
Farhat will be replaced by Shan Masood, the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed on Tuesday. Masood is uncapped at international level, and he has not scored a half century since February, and has failed to reach double figures in his past five First Class games.
Farhat's inclusion was already a talking point, given his poor form in recent ODIs, and he last scored a half century in March this year. He did not reach double figures in the two Champions Trophy games he played.
The sides will play the first of two T20s on 23 August, followed by three ODIs and two Tests.
