Haddin set to miss second Ashes Test

Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin may miss the second Ashes Test against England, starting Thursday at Lord's, due to personal reasons which will see a debut for Peter Nevill.

Haddin did not train with the team on Tuesday and instead was seen in conversion with Australia coach Darren Lehmann and team psychologist Michael Lloyd.

According to reports Haddin has not retired from the game but if the 29 year-old Nevill plays he will be making his first appearance in international cricket.

Nevill was also seen in a deep conversion with Australia's selection chairman Rod Marsh while all the Australian players were having some sort of conference.

Nevill was a strong contender to replace Haddin in the team anyway as the 37 year-old has been in some poor batting over the last year.

Both Haddin and Nevill are New South Welshmen and enjoy a close relationship.
