Highlights: Broad’s road to 300 wickets

England fast bowler Stuart Broad has become the latest player to reach the 300 wickets-2000 runs mark in Test cricket, a match after Mitchell Johnson achieved it, and joins Ian Botham as the Englishmen on the list.

Johnson got his 300th wicket and 200th run at Edgbaston, while Broad passed the batting milestone a while ago already. He was waiting for that wicket, and finally got it at Trent Bridge when he removed Chris Rogers in the first over.

Broad also becomes the fifth England bowler to pass 300 wickets, and is fifth on the all-time Test wickets list for his country. James Anderson, who is not playing here, tops that list with 413.

Here are a few of Broad's career highlights on his way to 300, joining Anderson, Botham, Willis and Trueman to reach that mark.
