Uncapped Indian fast bowler Dhawal Kulkarni has been ruled out of the ODI series against the West Indies, picking up a foot injury just days after his first call up to the national side.

Uncapped Indian fast bowler Dhawal Kulkarni has been ruled out of the ODI series against the West Indies, picking up a foot injury just days after his first call up to the national side.

Kulkarni was named in the side to replace R Vinay Kumar, who had a dire series against Australia, going for 102 runs in the final match. But the paceman was granted a reprieve thanks to the Mumbai bowler's toe injury.

The first ODI takes place on 21 November in Kochi.
