India named their squad for the Tests against the West Indies, which will be Sachin Tendulkar's final matches before retirement, and have rested Ravindra Jadeja while dropping Harbhajan Singh.

The batting order held no surprises aside from all-rounder Jadeja's absence, with his sore shoulder prompting the selectors to rest him, while Rohit Sharma was added after his good performances with the ODI squad.

The bowling department saw Umesh Yadav, Shami Ahmed and Amit Mishra added, while Ishant Sharma was retained despite his dire form in recent weeks. Veteran paceman Zaheer Khan was not recalled, despite his stated desire to keep playing.

Also not given recalls were Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina, who will thus miss out on The Little Master's 200th and final Test, which will take place in Mumbai.
