Faulkner refreshed for Lancashire county stint

Australia allrounder James Faulkner says he is ready for his county stint with Lancashire after recovering from his knee injury.
The 28-year-old Faulkner has had a complete break from cricket since the Big Bash League (BBL) ended in February.
It has allowed the left-arm seamer to recover properly from a knee injury and he is primed for his stint with Lancashire in the T20 Blast that starts in July.
Faulkner told the Sportstar Live website: “A bit of freshening up and the body is feeling good. My knee is as good as it has ever been.
“I am reinvigorated and ready to go again.”
Faulkner did not get picked up in the IPL auction but he feels that might be blessing in disguise as it has given him more time to fully recover.
The Tasmania player continued: “I wasn’t getting any break at all. It takes a toll on your body.
“It might be a blessing in disguise that I have had this time, just to get everything right – to play the game, enjoy it, and put good performances up.”
