Javed will not apply for Pakistan coaching job

Former Pakistan fast bowler and current UAE coach Aaqib Javed has ruled himself out of replacing Waqar Younis as head coach of his country of birth, saying the board went back on their word.
According to Javed, who played 22 Tests and 163 ODIs and was a member of the Pakistan side that won the 1992 World Cup, he was approached for the job of national coach last week but the board has now decided to advertise the position.
Javed was quoted as saying by Sport360: "I'm still the UAE head coach and am not going anywhere.
"I'm not leaving. I'm not even applying for the Pakistan job because the speculation is they are going for a foreign coach. Due to pressure or whatever, it has changed.
"So I don't want to give my expertise to people who don't hold their promises. All of a sudden they are going through a different process. Why didn't they tell me this before?"
Waqar resigned after the recent World T20 in India where the Asian side only beat Bangladesh to be eliminated at the Super 10 stage.
