JP confident Delhi have the right balance

Newly appointed Delhi Daredevils captain JP Duminy believes his side will definitely improve on last season's performance, and can even go all the way and lift the IPL title this season.
South Africa International Duminy was appointed as skipper by coach, and fellow South African, Gary Kirsten as they look to lift Delhi from the lows of last season where they only got two wins the entire season and ended rock bottom.
The team released 13 players from last season, including former England player Kevin Pietersen, in a bid to revamp and also to bring better balance to the side.
They have signed India allrounder, and player of the tournament at the 2011 World Cup, Yuvraj Singh to bolster their ranks. Duminy believes the captaincy experience that he got for the Proteas, in three T20I's against Australia last year, will stand him in good stead.
Duminy said: "It is always nice to have some sort of reference point, which will give me confidence. Captaining Delhi will present a different challenge. I don't know a lot of those players personally.
"How to get the best out of them individually and as a squad is a good challenge. A feature of our squad this year is our good balance. We also have the allrounders and the finishers.
"I am impressed with the Indian player strength in our squad. Yuvraj Singh and I would look at the No 4- and No 5 position. Mohammed Shami is a leading Indian bowler and his role will be vital."
