Pakistan are without fast bowler Junaid Khan for the rest of the second Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo after the paceman was struck in the head by a bouncer while batting on Saturday.
Junaid was hit on the side of the head by Dhammika Prasad's delivery, and while he seemed ok and carried on batting, he lost his balance once back in the dressing room. He was taken to hospital for observation, and did not play on day four.
Moin Khan, the Pakistan team manager, told Cricinfo: "The impact of the hit was hard and the doctor has advised him two days of rest. There is no fracture nor internal bleeding reported, so his tests are clear.
"But there is some swelling and he can't field because it hurts. He is talking and eating normally but there is a slight concussion which will recover with rest."
The paceman is not expected to miss any of the ODI series, which starts on 23 August.
