Kamran Akmal earns Pakistan recall

After a stellar domestic season Kamran Akmal has forced his way back into the limited overs squads for the tour of the West Indies.
Troublesome batsman Ahmed Shehzad has also been recalled after a domestic campaign that could not be ignored having been overlooked since the World T20 last year for disciplinary reasons.
Former ODI skipper Azhar Ali has lost his place in the squad after a poor run of form both as a batsman and as captain.
Fast bowler Mohammad Amir will be rested for the T20I leg of the tour.
Kamran had an incredible domestic campaign being named the player of the tournament in the 2017 edition of the Pakistan Super League, amassing 1035 first class runs and averaging over 50 in List A cricket.
After several discussions with team management and the top brass in the PCB Shehzad has been cleared to return no doubt aided by the suspension of Sharjeel Khan from all cricket as he is investigated for suspected involvement in spot-fixing during the PSL.
Batsman Fakhar Zaman and legspinner Shadab Khan have been given their very first national call ups while veteran Asif Zakir is in line to make his ODI debut at the age of 33.
Left-arm spinner Mohammad Asghar and allrounder Fahim Ashraf round out the group of five uncapped players picked in the squads.
T20I squad: Ahmed Shehzad, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Fakhar Zaman, Sarfraz Ahmed (capt & wk), Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Wahab Riaz, Sohail Tanvir, Rumman Raees, Hasan Ali, Usman Khan
