Kaushal reported for suspect bowling action

Sri Lanka spinner Tharindu Kaushal has been reported by the umpires for a suspect bowling action after the third Test against India that ended in Colombo on Tuesday.
The 22 year-old will have to have his action retested at an ICC-acredited facility within the next 14 days but will be allowed to bowl until the results are known.
Kaushal, who took 13 wickets in the three-match Test series against India, has played in six Tests while his only ODI was in Sri Lanka's defeat to South Africa in the quarterfinals of the World Cup.
The news comes after the Sri Lanka Cricket Board set up Cricket's Illegal Bowling Action Committee to correct any players with suspect actions at school level.
The Board have taken several steps to eradicate bowlers with dodgy actions to play for the national team in the future, including putting a ban on school bowlers wearing long-sleeves and elbow guards.
The last Sri Lanka bowler to be reported for a suspect action in international cricket was Sachithra Senanayake, during the 2014 tour of England.
