Sri Lanka will be without fast bowler Suranga Lakmal for the rest of the ODI series against England, after he pulled a hamstring in the first match at The Oval and had to leave the field.
Lakmal pulled up during his bowling run up, and it was revealed on Sunday that he had [picked up a grade two hamstring tear. He had taken one wicket in that match, which Sri Lanka lost.
This puts him in doubt for the start of the Test series, which begins on 12 June. He was replaced for the second ODI in Durham by Dhammika Prasad, but Shaminda Eranga is likely to be replacement for the rest of the series.
Sri Lanka weren't the only team with injury concerns, as England skipper Alastair Cook was ruled out of the second match with a niggle, and Alex Hales was called up to replace him in the squad, Michael Carberry got the match place though.
