Langer does double duty in Caribbean

Perth Scorcher’s coach Justin Langer, is keen to use his caretaker role as Australia coach to scout for talent for the Scorcher’s Big Bash campaign later in the year.
At a press conference ahead of the Australian team’s departure, Langer said: "I've got my Scorchers cap on every day of the week looking for the right people to bring across whether it's domestically or internationally."
The West Indies serves as an excellent talent pool for T20 sides across the globe, and Langer will keep his eye out for exciting prospects. Langer has stated that the Scorchers' two international spots are up for grabs.
He confirmed: "We've still got two positions, David Willey was excellent last year, but he's only available for a few games."
West Indians have become hot property on domestic T20 circuits, appearing everywhere from the Natwest T20 Blast in England, the IPL in India, South Africa’s Ram Slam T20 challenge, the Pakistan Super league and of course the Big Bash League in Australia.
Langer is keen to see what the West Indies have to offer saying : “I'll have a look at a few of (the West Indies) players to see whether they fit the bill."
Langer will take charge of the Australian team for a triangular series with hosts, the West Indies, and fierce rivals South Africa in June before Darren Lehmann returns to the role for the tour of Sri Lanka.
