Coach Darren Lehmann has heralded the Australian seam attack's ability to outdo England batsman Jonathan Trott, ahead of the Ashes series later this year.

The right-handed Trott endured a trying stretch of form against the Australians recently, enduring two ducks during the Test series and two more in the ODIs.

"We've found England cracks and worked out plans. I'm always confident. We found out a few things about England, which is great for us," the BBC quoted Lehmann as saying.

"We've made some inroads on getting into Trott's head, and I hope that continues. He's a good player, we know that.

"But I think we've worked out plans, which seem to work for most of their batters. In terms of knowing their batters back to front, we've got that down."

Lehmann succeeded former coach Mickey Arthur before the start of the Ashes and was, later, disciplined by Cricket Australia for publicly accusing England all-rounder Stuart Broad of cheating.

"England's brand of cricket can be dour. It's not the type of cricket I'd play. At times I'd like to see their over rates picked up," he concluded.
