Lyth: Ashes experience has made me hungrier

Under-pressure England opener Adam Lyth admits that he has had a disappointing Ashes campaign but says the experience has made him hungrier to do well in the future.
Lyth scored just 115 runs in nine innings, at an average of 12.77, as England regained the urn after beating Australia three-two in the five-match series.
There have been calls for Lyth to be dropped for England's next tour to the UAE, to take on Pakistan, with Moeen Ali. who batted at number eight against the Aussies, tipped to bat at the top of the order.
Lyth said: "This experience has made me hungrier, you don't become a bad player overnight and you don't in five games either. It's been an incredible few weeks and now I'm an Ashes winner, nobody can take that away from me!
"It could have gone better on a personal note but that's cricket and that can happen when you're facing one of the best attacks in the world on testing pitches.
"There's no getting away from the fact it's been a tough few games and a tough few weeks but I have to bounce back from it and I know I'll do that.
"I don't really pay attention to people talking about who will open in the UAE with Alastair Cook, it's completely out of my hands who the selectors pick."
