Mathews: We don’t look to change too much

Sri Lanka have had to contend with a double injury blow before their World Cup Pool A clash against co-hosts Australia on Sunday, but skipper Angelo Mathews says they will not change what has been working so well over the past three matches.
The 1996 world champions suffered injury blows to left-arm spinner Rangana Herath and batsman Dimuth Karunaratne, with the latter being ruled out of the entire tournament.
After losing their opening match at the event, to co-hosts New Zealand, Sri Lanka have bounced back to beat Afghanistan, Bangladesh and England, and their performance levels have gradually improved with the victories.
Mathews said: "We don't look to change our composition too much. We are forced to make a couple of changes because Rangana and Dimuth Karunaratne are out of the team.
"But you know our current combination has worked for us so far, so we don't want to change a lot of things. The batters are doing pretty well, so hopefully whoever comes in can do it in the same manner."
The match will take place at the SCG, and the winner will probably clinch second place in the group behind New Zealand.
