Maxwell wants to wear Baggy Green at home

Allrounder Glenn Maxwell says it would be special to wear the Baggy Green on home soil and is targeting a place in Australia' Test squad for the tour to Sri Lanka in July.
The 27 year-old Maxwell, who was on Wednesday crowned as Australia's ODI player of the year, has played in three games in the longest format, two in India and one in the UAE.
Maxwell said: "I'm hoping this year with the Test tour of Sri Lanka I can get rewarded for that as well. Even if it has to come through a subcontinent tour, it doesn't really bother me.
"If I can somehow scrape together an Australian tour at some stage it would be great. To play a home Test in front of my family would be really special."
The big-hitting batsman said he was thrilled to win the award for best player in 50-over cricket, especially since it contributed to Australia's World Cup success last year.
Maxwell continued: "It's an absolute honour to win it in a year that we won a cricket World Cup in our home country."
