Miller expects records to be smashed at World T20
South Africa batsman David Miller feels plenty of batting records will be broken during the World T20 as most players are experienced in the shortest format of game.
The global tournament will be played on batting friendly wickets in India and Miller says that and all the domestic T20 tournaments around the world will give batsmen the edge.
Miller said on arrival in India: "Definitely, this World T20 will see lot of records being smashed and new ones coming up.
"With the Indian Premier League (IPL), Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and Big Bash League (BBL), lot of shortest format of experience have come up and that will help in breaking a lot of records."
The Proteas have just lost a three-match series at home to Australia and Miller, who scored a half-ton in the first game against the Aussies, says the series was good preparation to test all the combinations ahead of the World T20.
The left-handed Miller said: "Series against Australia was a good one for us. We have done and played some good cricket for the past one year.
"We just have to stick to our game plan, keep things simple in the competition and hopefully we will come out victorious."
The Proteas start their World T20 campaign against England on 18 March in Mumbai.
