Misbah confident bowlers can stand up to Proteas
Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq is confident his bowlers can take wickets against a powerful South Africa batting line-up when the two teams meet in World Cup Pool B match in Auckland on Saturday.
The Proteas have racked up totals of more than 400 in their last two matches, against the West Indies and Ireland, with players such as AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla in sublime form.
Misbah though is pleased with the form of his bowlers in the tournament so far, and he feels that the experience gained by the bowling attack when they played South Africa previously will help.
The Pakistan skipper said: "I think our bowling has been really doing well. We are confident that we've got bowlers who can really get a wicket against any team. So let's see.
"I mean, in the past even we have played against South Africa, these guys played against South Africa in 2013 and 2014 quite a lot, and they know how these batsmen play, and their performances are really good.
"We are confident that we've got a bowling attack that can really put them under pressure."
