Moody confident Mustafizur will adapt
Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody is confident that Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman will adapt quickly to the Indian Premier League (IPL) just as he has done on the international stage.
The 20-year-old Mustafizur has made a sensational start to his career at the highest level, picking up 26 wickets in just nine ODIs and 22 scalps in his first 13 T20Is.
A former Australia international, Moody also said that left-armer Mustafizur takes wickets in the big games and bowls at the key moments in matches.
Moody said: "I met Mustafizur during the (T20) World Cup and he seems a good bright young kid. He will be looking forward to learning and to get the opportunity.
"He has taken to big game cricket quite easily and we have already seen that in the World Cup stage and in the Asia Cup. I feel he is more than comfortable and happy in big match situations.
"We have full confidence that he will adapt and adapt quickly."
The IPL kicks off on Saturday when the defending champions Mumbai Indians take on Rising Pune Supergiants.
