Mortaza hospitalised with dengue fever

Bangladesh fast bowler Mashrafe Mortaza won't return to domestic cricket quite yet, as he was hospitalised with dengue fever in Dhaka early on Friday morning.
Mortaza was caring for his son, who also had a high fever, when he fell ill from the mosquito-borne virus. While treatable, Mortaza will have to miss the third round of the current domestic competition.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Physician Dr Debashish Chowdhury said: "It’s been confirmed that he has been diagnosed with dengue. I've spoken with the doctor at the hospital."
Mortaza has not played domestic cricket for nearly two years, and would have played due to the Australia Test series being cancelled. He last played international cricket in July this year.
He will hope to be recovered in time for the proposed two-Test series against Zimbabwe in November. Mashrafe has not played a Test since 2009, due to persistent injuries.
