Spinner Sunil Narine has been added to the West Indies' squad for next month's three-Test series against New Zealand, after fellow slow bowlers Shane Shillingford and Marlon Samuels were reported for suspect actions during the recent tour of India.
The report – submitted by on-field umpires Richard Kettleborough and Nigel Llong, television official Vineet Kulkarni and match referee Andy Pycroft – cited concerns over Samuels' "quicker deliveries" and Shillingford's "doosras".
The actions will be analysed independently and, if deemed illegal, the pair will be suspended from bowling in international cricket.
Samuels was also reported in February 2008 and resumed bowling in September 2011, while Shillingford was reported in November 2010 and started bowling again in June 2011.
The 25-year-old, Narine, meanwhile, has not played Test cricket since November 2012. He boasts 15 wickets in five matches, 12 of which came in last year's two-match series against the Black Caps in Kingston and North Sound.
The first Test will get underway at the University Oval in Dunedin on Tuesday. The Basin Reserve in Wellington and Seddon Park in Hamilton will host matches two and three respectively.
West Indies squad: Darren Sammy (captain), Denesh Ramdin (vice-captain), Tino Best, Kraigg Brathwaite, Darren Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Sheldon Cottrell, Narsingh Deonarine, Kirk Edwards, Shannon Gabriel, Sunil Narine, Veerasammy Permaul, Kieron Powell, Marlon Samuels, Shane Shillingford, Chadwick Walton.
