Chairman Rod Bransgrove has welcomed the announcement of next year's two ODIs at the Rose Bowl as Hampshire Cricket's "reward for the plan to create a truly world-class ground."
Monday saw the England and Wales Cricket Board confirm the fixtures for 2015's series with New Zealand and Australia.
The picturesque Southampton venue has been awarded the third ODI of the Black Caps' visit and the first of Australia's travels.
"The staging of these two matches is fantastic news for everyone involved with Hampshire Cricket. The games will be the first internationals at the ground with all construction completed, including the magnificent new four-star hotel, so I'm sure they will both be fantastic occasions," said Bransgrove.
"We look forward to welcoming both teams and both sets of supporters here next year, to what will be an amazing spectacle and celebration of cricket at the highest level."
