No Windies ODIs for Rohit

Batsman Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of India's limited-overs series against the West Indies this month.
Batsman Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of India's limited-overs series against the West Indies this month.
Sharma has recovered from the fractured finger that prevented participation in Mumbai's Champions League Twenty20 campaign, but a shoulder injury has not healed fully.
India will be without his services for the five ODIs and one-off Twenty20 International against the Windies. The talented right-hander, however, is expected to return for the three-Test series in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
"Rohit has sustained a fracture on the middle finger of his right hand, and has been ruled out of the ODI and T20 series as a result," read a press release from the Board of Control for Cricket in India recently.
Kochi, Delhi, Visakhapatnam, Dharmasala and Kolkata will host ODIs one, two, three, four and five respectively between 8 and 20 October. The sole T20I will be played in Cuttack on 22 October.
