Parnell included in SA A team to face England

Cricket South Africa (CSA) included allrounder Wayne Parnell in the SA A team to take on England in a one-day tour-match in Kimberley on 30 January.
Test opener Dean Elgar will captain the side that also includes batsman Qaasim Adams and allrounder Andile Phehlukwayo, who will both make their debuts for the A team.
CSA selection convener, Linda Zondi, said: "Qaasim and Andile have both done well in the franchise limited overs competitions and this is their opportunity to show what they can do at the next level.
"It is indeed an opportunity for all the players to perform against high quality international opposition."
The 26 year-old Parnell, who has played in four Tests, 46 ODIs and 35 T20Is for the Proteas, was a surprise inclusion as he is currently out injured and has not played a competitive match since 9 December last year.
Fast bowler Hardus Viljoen and wicketkeeper Dane Vilas, who are both currently involved in the Test series against the Three Lions, have also been included in the side.
South Africa A: Dean Elgar (capt), Qaasim Adams, Theunis de Bruyn, Reeza Hendricks, Wayne Parnell, Aaron Phangiso, Andile Phehlukwayo, Dane Vilas, Hardus Viljoen, David Wiese, Khaya Zondo.
