Pretorius replaces Steyn in Test squad
South Africa have called up uncapped all-rounder Dwaine Pretorius to the Test squad as a replacement for injured paceman Dale Steyn.
Pretorius will need to make a mad dash to Australia before the second Test starts in Hobart on 12 November, though he is unlikely to play ahead of Morne Morkel or Kyle Abbott.
Steyn was ruled out of the series on day one of the first Test in Perth, which the Proteas won, and is already back home to heal his shoulder fracture.
Pretorius has only three ODI caps, having made his debut in September, but has been in good form for the Lions domestically this season.
He goes on tour on the back of four big half tons in three First Class matches, as well as a six-fer against the Warriors.
