Cricket South Africa have named an unchanged 15-man squad for the two-match Test series against India to be played later this month, keeping the same line-up that drew one-all with Pakistan in the UAE.

The Proteas have already won the ODI series against India, and will look to keep that form going in the Test arena, after coming back from a game down to draw the Pakistan series in October.

"We were very happy with the performance of the Castle Lager Proteas in the second Test match at Dubai," commented CSA selection convener Andrew Hudson, "and we see no need to change something that is operating well."

There was no place for batsman Quinton de Kock in the squad, despite his back-to-back centuries in the ODI series, while Alviro Petersen's superb form domestically ensured he kept his place. Wicketkeeper Thami Tsolekile remained in the squad as back up to AB de Villiers.

The first Test match will be played at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg from December 18-22 and the second at Kingsmead in Durban from December 26-30.
