Raina: Tigers not to be underestimated

India all-rounder Suresh Raina is pleased to be facing Bangladesh in an ODI series with a full-strength team alongside him, saying the Tigers have become worthy adversaries in recent months.

The last time India came to Bangladesh, they sent very few first-string players, with Raina one of the most senior and the captain, but this time, with the Tigers having beaten Pakistan in a series recently, that has changed.

When asked if the Tigers were worthy of a full India side, Raina said: "Yes definitely.

"You saw that after the IPL, the full Test team came and now the full ODI team has come. Bangladesh have done well in ODIs recently, and this shows how important a series this is for us.

"We have done well in ODIs recently, and we are looking forward to it."

Raina added: "If you ask me about our team, we have done really well in one-days over the years. We are looking to enjoy each and every game. We're here to play cricket, and we'll be focusing on our strengths.

"The team has been working really hard. We have one more practice session tomorrow and hopefully all set for the game tomorrow."
