Root expecting an ‘entertaining spectacle’

England batsman Joe Root is looking forward to an 'entertaining spectacle' in the upcoming four-match Test series against South Africa, that starts on Boxing Day in Durban.
The Three Lions have already arrived in the Southern African country and Rot, who has never played a Test against the Proteas, says the series could be determined by the respective bowling attacks.
Seamers Stuart Broad and James Anderson will be vital for the tourists as they look to crack the home team's batting line-up that includes Hashim Amla and AB de Villiers.
The Proteas are currently the number one team in the world in the longest format but do come off a three-nil series defeat in India recently and are eager to make up in front of their own fans.
Root told Cricinfo: "It should be a really entertaining spectacle, with their attack and our attack as well, in those conditions – I'm looking forward to getting out there and being a part of it.
"I think it's going to be a really close series, and a really interesting battle with the two seam attacks.
"The way that Stuart and Jimmy lead our attack, with some very exciting guys below them as well, it could be an interesting battle against the number one side in the world."
After the first Test, the teams move on to Newlands for the New Year Test while the series will conclude with games in Johannesburg and Centurion.
