Sammy: We are not a one man show

Following their victory over Sri Lanka in the World T20, West Indies captain Darren Sammy says his team have shown that they are not dependent on batsman Chris Gayle to be successful.
Gayle injured his hamstring while fielding as the Windies restricted Sri Lanka to 122 for nine at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore with legspinner Samuel Badree returning great figures of three for 12.
In the absence of Gayle, opener Andre Fletcher stepped up to the plate striking an unbeaten 84 off just 64 balls as the Caribbean side reached their target in the 19th over with only three wickets down.
The left-handed Gayle had virtually won the first match of the tournament for the Windies when he hit 100 not out against England.
Sammy said after the Sri Lanka game: "I hope that he (Gayle) recovers but what we have shown today is that it's not a one man show. The way Fletcher stepped up in the absence of Gayle showed that we have 15 potential match winners.
"It was good to see the way we bowled. And then the way Fletcher batted was brilliant. I'm happy as a captain. When you select someone and they have immediate impact you are happy.
"The spinners are the ones getting the wickets and keeping down the rate. The way Badree and Sulieman Benn bowled in the Powerplay was great. Badree kept taking wickets and that helped."
The Windies' next game in the tournament will be against South Africa on Friday in Nagpur.
