Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Najam Sethi has been reinstated by the supreme court.
The country's government had removed Sethi – and introduced an interim committee chaired by retired judge Jamshed Ali Shah – 24 hours earlier.
"The government has notified a new PCB constitution and removed Najam Sethi from the PCB management committee," government legal advisor Irfana Ullah Khan a told ESPNcricinfo.
"Jamshed Ali Shah will now be the acting chairman of the PCB and he will also serve as an election commissioner. The management committee, which had been working under Najam Sethi, will remain in the board to work with the acting chairman."
All decisions made on Thursday, however, have since been rendered null and void by the court, with another hearing set for 21 July.
The Lahore-based Shah previously acted as the head of the PCB's committee and – drafted the new constitution.
