Shami and Saha to miss final Test

India fast bowler Mohammed Shami and wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha will both miss the fifth and final Test against England that gets underway in Chennai on Friday.
Shami featured in the first three Tests but an injured knee ruled him out of the clash in Mumbai and he has been advised against returning to action in Chennai.
The Indian cricket board (BCCI) said in a statement on Sunday: “He [Shami] will be going to the National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru to start his recovery programme.”
Reserve fast bowler Ishant Sharma who was released from the squad to conduct his wedding is expected to return to the group as cover.
Saha has yet to recover from the hamstring injury that he sustained in the second Test and he too is undergoing rehab at the National Cricket Academy.
Wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel will most likely be retained for the final Test after standing in for Saha in the third and fourth Tests.
India look set to wrap up the series after ending day four of the fourth Test well on top and could experiment with different combinations on the final Test.
