Shami out of UAE match in Perth

India fast bowler Mohammed Shami will miss his side's next match at the World Cup, against the UAE on Saturday, because of a knee injury.
Shami complained about a sore knee after their last match against South Africa on Sunday and, after an assessment by the medical staff, it was decided that he will not be available for the UAE clash, which will take place at the Waca in Perth.
India's media manager, RN Baba said: "Mohammed Shami got a mild left-knee problem and had ultrasound-guided injection yesterday. For his long-term management perspective he won't be available for tomorrow's match against UAE."
Shami bowled well against the Proteas at the MCG, as India won convincingly by 130 runs, taking two for 30, and looking threatening, in eight productive overs.
India will hope that the right-arm bowler recovers in time for their match against West Indies, which takes place on the 6 March also in Perth.
