Zimbabwe have dropped opening batsman Vusi Sibanda for the third ODI against Afghanistan after failures in the first matches, though Zimbabwe did win the first two games in Bulawayo.
Sibanda made just four runs in the first game, and was thus not picked for the second, and has now been dropped entirely. He was told he could stay and train with the squad in Bulawayo, but has opted to return to training in Harare.
Sibanda has been replaced by Richmond Mutumbami, who comes in on the back of a half century for the A side. Sibanda will be available for the visits by South Africa and Australia later in the year.
Squad for third ODI: B Taylor, S Raza, R Chakabva, T Chatara, E Chigumbura, T Kamungozi, T Maruma, H Masakadza, S Masakadza, N M'Shangwe. R Mutumbami, T Panyangara, D Tiripano, P Utseya, M Waller, S Williams.
