Siddle: I wouldn't be surprised if Trott came back

Australia fast bowler Peter Siddle is anticipating a relatively prompt return to the England Test XI for batsman Jonathan Trott.
Australia fast bowler Peter Siddle is anticipating a relatively prompt return to the England Test XI for batsman Jonathan Trott.
Trott left the Ashes tour after the first Test last year due to a stress-related illness – and recently returned to competitive cricket for Warwickshire in the County Championship.
"I wouldn't be surprised at all if Trott came back. He is a very good player and he has had a lot of success against us. It has always been hard work. I wish him all the best," said Siddle.
The veteran Kevin Pietersen, meanwhile, has all but retired from international cricket in the wake of his fall from grace among the England management.
Siddle, who might play against Surrey's Pietersen during a lucrative contract with Nottinghamsphire for this year's County Championship campaign, enjoyed the rivalry.
"Personally, I'm pretty glad he's not playing any more. I always loved bowling against him. He is a challenging player to play against," he added.
"I did play to his ego. I just bored him. It is the most boring way I've bowled to any player. I knew where he wanted to score and knew how he would do it, so I tried boring him as much as I could and had a lot of success doing it."
