Sri Lanka include five new caps in T20 squad

Sri Lanka have named five uncapped players in their 14-man squad for the two T20 matches against Pakistan that starts with a match in Colombo on 30 July.

Having just lost the five-match ODI series to Pakistan with a game to spare, the Sri Lankan selectors have clearly felt that they need some fresh new faces.

Binura Fernando, Dasun Shanaka, Jeffrey Vandersay, Shehan Jayasuriya and Dhananjaya de Silva have all been included as the Asian team search for the perfect mix.

Experienced campaigners Dinesh Chandimal and Lahiru Thirimanne have been axed while Chamara Kapugedera earns a recall after last playing in 2012.

The squad will be captained by experienced fast bowler Lasith Malinga.
