Stokes: Samuels did not show grace in victory

England allrounder Ben Stokes has continued his feud with Marlon Samuels, saying the West Indies batsman did not show grace in victory when the Caribbean side won the World T20 earlier this month.
The Windies beat the Three Lions in the final at Eden Gardens when Stokes was hit for four consecutive sixes by Carlos Brathwaite in the last over when the Caribbean side needed 19 runs for victory.
Samuels, who received the man-of-the-match award for his unbeaten 85 in the showpiece game, was fined 30 per cent of his match fee for abusing Stokes in the final over.
Stokes was quoted as saying by The Mirror: "I knew you had to let the winning team have 10 minutes to celebrate winning the World Cup. At the same time, you have also got to play the game in the right way when it's finished.
"A few of those West Indies guys didn't do that – Marlon being one of them, which was unfortunate. He won't be on my Christmas card list or anything else really.
"People have battles on the field but also you have to respect people who do well and he played a brilliant innings, he played a massive hand in winning them the World Cup. You have to say, 'he got the better of us and of me that day'.
"But there's a fine line between having a battle and not being gracious in victory."
The two players have a long history of not getting along on the field and having a go at each other, dating back to the Test series in the Caribbean last year.
