Tahir: We can take our form to the WT20

South Africa spinner Imran Tahir is confident the Proteas will be able to carry their recent good form at home all the way to India for the World Twenty20, all the way to the title.
Tahir was a key player for the Proteas in the first T20 against Australia on Friday, taking three wickets for 21 runs as his side won the close contest. Speaking after the game, their fifth win in a row, he felt this form was sustainable.
Tahir said: "We have been playing good cricket the last two or three years and going to the World Cup I feel we are very confident.
"We are looking to do well like we always have been, even in previous World Cups.
"I just think we just have to play good cricket on the day when we get there."
Given Tahir's ability to take a few wickets with his attacking leg-spin, he knows all eyes will be on him in India, and says he relishes the chance to be a key player in the side.
He added: "I am very happy with that (added pressure). I like challenges and…I try and deliver. It is going really well for me so far so I am pleased with that.
"As long as I am doing well for the team that is my main thing. That is what I am trying to do and then the wickets come and I take them."
South Africa will play Australia in Johannesburg on Sunday and Cape Town on Wednesday, before jetting off to the sub-continent. Their first WT20 match will be against England on 18 March.
