Zimbabwe have named a strong training squad ahead of August's one-off Test against South Africa and ODI tri-series, which will also feature Australia.
The uncapped Steve Chimhamhiwa, Luke Jongwe, Neville Madziva, Cuthbert Musoko, Taurai Muzarabani and John Nyumbu have been included in the 25-man party.
Batsman Mark Vermeulen, who has not played international cricket since 2009, has been afforded the chance to earn a recall.
"I didn't ever lose any love for cricket. I still think I have two or three years left in me and I think I will give it one last full go in the hope that I can play a Test again," Vermeulen told ESPNcricinfo recently.
"I've become more determined because I know I don't have many years left in me. I've become more focused."
The one-off Test will get underway at the Harare Sports Club on Thursday. The tri-series will begin on 25 August and end on 6 September.
Zimbabwe recently appointed all-rounder Elton Chigumbura new Twenty20 International and ODI skipper, while batsman Brendan Taylor retained the Test captaincy.
