Uncapped Usman added to T20I squad

Uncapped seamer Usman Khan has been added to Pakistan's squad for this month's two-match Twenty20 International series against Sri Lanka in the United Arab Emirates.
An outstanding stretch of form at domestic level, including a remarkable haul of five for nine for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited against Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited in the final of the Faysal Bank T-20 Cup, has earned Khan a maiden international call-up.
Captain Mohammad Hafeez is eager to see Pakistan put in a considerably stronger performance, after a narrow win over Afghanistan in Sunday's one-off T20I at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Hafeez, who bowled four economical overs and gathered an authoritative 42, was named Man of the Match in the wake of the uncomfortable six-wicket win, which was secured without the services of the rested Saeed Ajmal.
"Sri Lanka are a top side so this is in itself a motivation to beat the number one side and if we win both it will lift us to the top of the world," said Hafeez.
"We leaked quite a few runs against Afghanistan, so we will have to be at our best to beat Sri Lanka and Ajmal's return will help that."
The Twenty20 Internationals will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday and Friday. Five ODIs and three Tests will follow.
